The Sheepdog SD-LO-APX 8-Pin Listen / Receive Only Earpiece Kit is specifically made for Motorola APX OEM shoulder speaker microphones with an 8-pin accessory port. Designed with Public Safety in mind, the SD-LO-APX has Kevlar cabling and durable strain reliefs. Connects directly to shoulder speaker microphone. Equipped with metal clothing clip to secure earpiece to collar. Once connected, radio traffic becomes private as it is redirected from speaker microphone to selected eartip. Be ready for any environment and all day comfort with the SD-LO-APX Listen Only Kit. Acoustic tube cable be cut to desired length. Release acoustic tube by turning quick-twist connector counterclockwise and pulling away from transducer. Tube can be cut above or below coil. Simply reattach elbow or quick-twist connector, push back into transducer, and turn clockwise to lock into place. Maintaining your SD-LO-APX is simple. If audio quality begins to deteriorate, visually inspect acoustic tube and transducer for any obstructions such as moisture build-up or debris. Compressed air can be used to remove any blockage. If audio is still distorted after removing obstructions, check to see if audio is clear via the transducer. If so, a new acoustic tube is needed.
